Branton School sponsors a variety of inter-school activities for boys and girls as part of a balanced program of physical education. School teams enhance the opportunity for students to develop further their physical skills, physical fitness, social skills, attitudes, knowledge, and understanding.
The following school teams are offered depending on the availability of coaches and facilities:
- Cross Country Running
- Soccer
- Volleyball
- Basketball
- Wrestling (boys and girls)
- Badminton
- Track and Field
Students learn and grow when they are educated in a positive environment. We have made a commitment to making competitive experiences as positive and educational as possible, for the athletes, officials, coaches, and spectators. Student athletes are recognized in three assemblies per year.
Intramurals
Our intramural activities are an extension of the regular Physical Education Program and provide an opportunity for students to participate in an organized recreational activity. Intramurals are held over the lunch hour most days. The fitness room is also open at lunch. While participation is voluntary, students are encouraged to participate, make new friends, and have fun. Opportunities exist for team competitions, individual competitions, clubs, and self-directed activities (by signing out equipment from our sports room).
