A Message from Mr. Picard, Principal
We will have our initial Meet the Admin/Teacher Evening on Thursday, September 26 from 6-8 PM. We will start with the School Council AGM (6pm), followed by the Admin meeting in the gymnasium. The next part of our evening will be to meet the teachers by following Day 3 of your child’s schedule (Welcome back to Middle School Moms and Dads :-) ). Please have a copy of your child’s schedule with you on that evening. At the end of this evening, we will invite all Grade 8 parents interested in the 2025 Quebec Trips to meet with Mr. Lavoie and myself in the gymnasium (8:00 to 8:30pm).
Terry Fox Run
The Terry Fox Run took place on Friday, September 20 with Branton students walking and running a course in the Banff Trail neighborhood. Students were in great spirits even with the challenging weather conditions. Students also participated in bringing in donations for the Terry Fox.
A big thank you to the parent volunteers that came out and braved the weather to help make this run successful. We will update parents on how much was raised on this day.

Quebec Trip
Dear Grade 8 Students and Parents , We are excited to invite you to our Quebec Trip Information Session on September 26 at 8:00 PM in the school gym. This
session will provide all the details you need about the upcoming trip scheduled for May 2025. We'll cover important topics such as costs, dates, activities, the selection process, and the behavior and financial contracts. Mr. Jean-Simon Lavoie will be the teacher-in-charge for the Continuous French Immersion trip, while I will be overseeing the Late French Immersion Quebec trip. We look forward to seeing you there and answering any questions you may have!

Fun Lunches are Coming
