Music Notes

Thank you to everyone who came out to hear our end of the year concert. The students performed very well and should be proud of their accomplishments.

Instrument Returns: must be done by June 13, 2025.

School rented instruments need to be cleaned, re-oiled or greased so they will be working properly in September. Google classroom has videos to watch PRIOR to cleaning so you know what supplies you will need to accomplish this. There are also some notes in my instructions, as some of the videos do things differently than what I would like. Please watch these with your child so you can ensure things are done correctly. They need to be returned to me in person during class or at lunch if they are leaving early. If instruments are not clean when returned, I will send them out to the music store and the cost will be covered by the renter. Thank you for understanding.

Summer Rentals - are available if your child would like to continue practicing over the summer. Forms will be available June 16.

Summer camps - There is a Calgary Summer Band program that runs from August 17 - 22, 2025. https://www.calgaryregionalsbw.com for more information.

Calgary Round Up and Stetsons Marching Bands are having a parent/student information evening on June 16 at 7:00 pm at Willow Ridge community Assn located at 680 Acadia Drive SE. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Learn about marching performances, as well as color guard!

Have a fantastic summer!
