- National Indigenous History Month June 21- Today, we honor and celebrate National Indigenous Day, recognizing the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples. Let’s continue to learn, respect, and support Indigenous communities.
- Monday June 24
- Grade 9 Bowling Day: Normal start time for School. Buses leave at 10 AM, returning at 1:30 PM. Locker clean-out. Teacher in charge: Judd Casper/Paul Ormiston.
- Tuesday June 25
- Grade 6 University Trip: Normal start time. Buses leave at 10 AM. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water and lunch/snacks. Teacher in Charge: Mr. Andreasen.
- Grade 7 Heritage Park Day: Bring a lunch, Water bottle, snacks, hat. Homeroom at 9 AM. Teacher in Charge: Jillian Handy.
- Grade 8 Bowling Day: Normal start time - Buses leave at 10 AM. Return at 1:30 PM and go to the Homeroom for Locker clean out. Teacher in Charge: Judd Casper/ Paul Ormiston.
- Wednesday June 26
- Grade 9 Farewell: 9:15 AM - 11 AM - Awards (Fun/Academic/Sports)/Video Presentation. (One parent per student can attend) 11 AM - 12 PM: Treated to Kona Ice and time for photos. 12 PM - 1:15 PM - Food Trucks/Lunch Time 1:30 - 3:30 PM - Full Dance for all grades. Teacher in Charge: Kat Walker
- Thursday June 27
- Assembly’s for: Grade 6: 8:45 AM - 9:45 AM. Grade 7: 10:15 AM - 11:15 AM Grade 8 : 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM
As we have limited space, parents of award recipients were notified by email earlier this week. If you did not receive an email and would like to attend, we would ask you to limit attendance to one person per student. Thank you.

Please note - report cards will only be available for a few weeks so please be sure to print or save one if you want it for the future.

Appeals Day
June 28 - 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
Should any questions or concerns with the final report card arise, students and their families may contact teachers by individual email to schedule a meeting to discuss further. Please note the Appeals Day is scheduled on June 28 between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM to discuss any questions that Parents may have about their student’s report card marks and comments. This is not a Parent /Teacher Interview, it is only for issues that may have arisen from final grades or marks.

Finally, on behalf of Branton staff and students - we would like to thank the Branton Fun Lunch Committee and their volunteers for the hard work in providing us with several fun lunches throughout this year.
